IAM Youth Committee Nominations - Deadline : Feb 7 2011

Come, take a peek into how large volunteer organizations work. Gain valuable experience in event organization and co-ordination while putting your best ideas to work. Every year, IAM depends on the youth within the community to fulfil specific roles. If you have a passion to give back, make a small difference or get involved within your local community, this is your calling.

While free to implement your ideas and conceptions, you will always have the guidance and support of the IAM committee when required. You could also speak to past youth committee members to get a feel for what's in store for you. All in all, when the year is done, you will feel a sense of achievement and a stronger connection to your roots.

So lend a hand. Get active. Make a difference.

Republic Day Celebration - Saturday January 29th 2011

We extend a warm invitation to all of you to join us in celebrating India's Republic Day on Saturday, January 29th at the India Cultural Centre and Temple (ICCT) in Eads, TN.

There will be a competition segment from 3:15 PM to 4:45 PM followed by a cultural program beginning at 4:45 PM. Details can be found on the event flyer posted below. Dinner will be served from 7 PM onwards. Admission is FREE!. Everyone is welcome to come and participate. At the end of the event, boxed dinners will be sold for a nominal price.
